OUR MISSION

Your Body, the Way You Want It

Hi and welcome to Functional Fitness! Here at FF we believe that fitness and healthy living isn’t just a choice but an entire lifestyle and mental shift! We strive to help you find the fun in fitness and make it a pleasurable outlet. The benefits of fitness will always out way the small discomforts we may experience along the way, and you know what, those small discomforts just mean it’s working! I have developed my own programs over the course of years that combine my ISSA training, my love of sports, personal research and trial and error as my own test subject. I love adapting my program in new ways to fit each client’s specific needs, ranging from weight loss and shredding fat to building lean muscle!

ABOUT ME

Strength in Body & Mind

Health, fitness and nutrition have always played a big role in my life. At the age of 2 I was on the tennis court and the ski slopes, by 6 I fell in love with horseback riding, by 7thgrade I was playing on my high school’s Varsity Softball team, throughout high school I played varsity soccer, basketball and softball. The summer going into my Junior year I spent traveling Europe on an international tennis team and that has definitely been one of the highlights of my life! My freshmen year of college I spent at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, there I started playing and training with the softball team, and that’s where I fell in love with weight training. While there I went on to get my personal training certification as I wanted to help others experience my new-found passion! 


Constructing personalized training and nutrition plans to fit into your already busy schedule is my specialty. Everyone is different therefore every plan is different but you can always expect; 5-6 training days a week with an upper and lower body split, different cardio options on different days depending on your goals and abdominal training 2-3 times a week. Want to opt for a nutrition plan as well? I will give you a break down and intro to macros including personally calculating your own macros. You will receive a 2-3 days sample meal plan as well as a recipe guild for some of my favorite fast, easy and macro friendly recipes! Included in all of this is 24/7 contact with me whenever you have a question and weekly check ins to make sure you’re feeling good and staying on track!
